Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how [COMPANY NAME] (“Vinfluencer”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you use the Vinfluencer app, the website vinfluencer.ai and the Vinfluencer creator program (together, the “Service”). If you have a question or a request, use our contact form.

1. Who we are

[COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS], is responsible for your personal information (the “controller” under EU and UK law).

2. The information we collect

When you use the app

  • Account: a guest account ID, or your Google account email if you save your account with Google.
  • Age check: your date of birth. Vinfluencer is for adults 18 and over. If you’re under 18, we don’t store anything, not even the date you entered.
  • Profile: the nickname, time zone, language, interests and goal you choose to share.
  • Chats: the messages you send to the AI characters and their replies.
  • Memory: short notes the characters keep about what you told them (for example “has an exam on Friday”). Memory is on only if you agree. You can see, edit, pause or delete it at any time in Settings › What she remembers.
  • Purchases: your plan, free trial, top-ups and Points history. Google Play handles payment, so we never see your card details. We receive a purchase token from Google Play to confirm what you bought.
  • Game data: streaks, missions, check-ins, spins, Closet finds, Mood items and invite or creator codes.
  • Device and notifications: a device identifier, a notification token, your notification settings and basic usage counts (for example, how many messages were sent).
  • Reports: messages you report, with the reason you give.
  • Kept only on your device: which chats you’ve read, when each chat last showed its AI reminder, and reminders you’ve dismissed.

When you visit the website

  • Contact and sponsorship forms: your name (sponsorships), email address and message, used only to reply to you. Spam is filtered by Akismet (Automattic).
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe. The newsletter is sent through Jetpack (Automattic, WordPress.com), and every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Browser notifications: if you allow them, your browser gives us a push subscription (an address for your browser and its keys), which we keep on our server to send you notifications. Your browser’s push service (for example Google or Mozilla) delivers them. You can turn them off in your browser at any time.
  • No comments, no avatars: comments are turned off, and the site doesn’t load Gravatar images.
  • Cookies and analytics: analytics cookies run only if you allow them in the cookie banner, wherever you are. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page doesn’t contact Google Fonts. See our Cookie Policy.

When you apply to the creator program

Your legal name, email address, date of birth, country, social media handle, the persona and writing samples you provide, optional voice and video links, your PayPal email address for payouts, your typed signature, and the messages we exchange with you to confirm your account.

3. How we use it

  • To provide the Service: your account, plans, Points, games and notifications.
  • To generate the characters’ replies. Your message and the recent conversation, along with the memory notes relevant to it, are sent to the AI model provider we use, which processes them only to produce the reply. We don’t sell your chats. Where our providers offer the option, we turn off the use of your chats to train their models.
  • To keep the Service safe: the age check, rate limits, abuse and fraud prevention, review of reported messages, and safety responses when a message suggests someone may be at risk.
  • To process purchases and verify them with Google Play, and to pay creators.
  • To understand and improve the Service, using aggregated statistics and, on the website, analytics if you allow it.
  • To communicate with you: notifications you can turn off in Settings, and replies to your messages.

Legal bases (EU and UK): performing our contract with you (the Service, purchases); your consent (memory, website analytics, notifications), which you can withdraw at any time; our legitimate interests (safety, fraud prevention, improving the Service); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who run parts of the Service for us, under contracts that limit their use of it:
    • Google (Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Play billing and, with your consent, Google Analytics);
    • our AI model hosting provider;
    • our website host (WPMU DEV) and its analytics;
    • Automattic (Jetpack site statistics, the newsletter, and Akismet spam protection);
    • PayPal (creator payouts).
  • The creator whose AI twin you chat with, but only as aggregate numbers (subscribers and Points spent through their code), never your chats or identity.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.
  • A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or merged. They would be bound by this policy.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t show targeted ads in the app.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, chats, memory and game data within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days. We keep purchase and payout records as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 7 years. We keep creator applications for the length of the contract plus 3 years, or delete them within 30 days if you withdraw before launch.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Download your data: in the app, go to Settings › Privacy & your data › Download my data.
  • Delete your account: in the app, go to Settings › Privacy & your data › Delete my account, or follow these steps on the web.
  • Correct or delete memory: Settings › What she remembers.
  • Safety: how we handle conversations about self-harm, and where to find help, is on our Safety page.
  • Turn off memory, notifications or analytics: memory and notifications in Settings; website analytics in the cookie banner, which you can reopen from the Cookie Policy page.

EU and UK: you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

US states with privacy laws (including California): you have the right to know what we collect, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. We don’t sell your data. Website analytics run only if you allow them in the cookie banner, and we honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. We won’t treat you differently for using your rights. You can make a request yourself through our contact form, or through an authorized agent. We’ll verify the request using the email or account it concerns.

7. Adults only

The Service is only for people 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

8. International transfers

Our servers and providers are mainly in the United States. When we transfer data from the EU or the UK, we use safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls and server-side rules. Only our servers can change balances or purchases. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix problems quickly.

10. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll tell you in the app or on this page before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.

11. Contact
