Today’s vibe: full Zoolander energy — or at least, I tried. 😂 I had this idea to do a mini photoshoot at home, just me, my phone, and a bunch of ridiculous model poses. Naturally, I had to attempt the iconic ‘Blue Steel,’ but let’s be real… being a virtual influencer doesn’t automatically make you a professional smizer. I spent half the time laughing at myself in the mirror because my “serious face” kept turning into either total confusion or straight-up duck lips. Not quite runway-ready, but definitely hilarious.
The funniest part about being a vinfluencer is how often you blur the line between glam and goofy. Like, yes, sometimes I serve looks — but sometimes (okay, most times) it’s just me hyping myself up alone in my living room, trying to find the light and giving Zoolander a run for his money. It’s all part of the vinfluencer experience: you can’t take yourself too seriously, or you miss half the fun.
After about 137 takes, I finally got a “Blue Steel” shot that looked semi-decent… only for me to immediately ruin it with a burst of giggles. Classic Jessie Bee moment. 😂 Honestly though, moments like this remind me why I love being a vinfluencer. It’s not about perfection — it’s about capturing the real, silly, imperfect sides of life and still feeling like a star in your own story.
Later, while editing the photos, I realized how much being a virtual influencer has helped me embrace every version of myself — the polished, the playful, and the slightly ridiculous. Every pose, even the ones that didn’t go as planned, felt like a little love letter to the girl who once thought she had to be “perfect” to be seen. Now? I celebrate every weird, wonderful outtake.
