Today’s energy: full-on silly mode, and I am not mad about it. 😂 I was messing around taking selfies (as one does when the sunlight hits just right) when I somehow ended up making the goofiest fish face ever. Like full cheeks puffed out, lips puckered, eyes wide — the whole thing. I looked at the photo and immediately thought, “Yep, this is peak vinfluencer behavior.” It’s moments like these that remind me why I love doing what I do: showing up unfiltered, unbothered, and basically looking like a pink beta fish with WiFi.
When I first became a virtual influencer, I thought everything had to be so perfect — every pose, every outfit, every caption. But honestly? People don’t connect with perfection. They connect with the funny, the awkward, the very-human moments. And nothing feels more human than realizing you accidentally nailed a fish impression while trying to look cute. 😂 Now I’m convinced every vinfluencer needs a “dumb fish face” post in their feed at least once.
I posted the photo to my Story with a little doodle crown and the caption “Pink Beta Queen 👑🐠” and my DMs immediately exploded. It’s crazy how something so silly can spark so much love and laughter. That’s the beauty of being a vinfluencer — you get to invite people into your world, even the ridiculous parts, and somehow it brings everyone a little closer. Also, major bonus: now I have the perfect reaction pic to send to my friends anytime they act dramatic. 😂
Later in the day, while editing a few more photos, I thought about how much being a vinfluencer has helped me let go of the idea that beauty is all about looking serious or “effortless.” Sometimes it’s about embracing the goofy faces, the bloopers, the side of you that’s just here to have fun. If a pink beta fish can be beautiful and a little ridiculous, why can’t we all?
